Chris Jadick joined the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transit Authority (TBARTA) as Communications Director in April, 2019.  Prior to that he had a long career in television, including News Director at WFTS ABC Action News, Executive Producer at WTVT Fox-13, and Director of Sports for Bright House Sports Network.  A native of Ohio, he earned bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Telecommunications from Kent State University and a master’s degree in Strategic Communications from the University of S. Florida. 

Under his direction, TBARTA has been recognized both locally and nationally for communications and  public outreach. In 2020, TBARTA’s Envision 2030 campaign received the Award of Excellence for public participation from the Hillsborough City-County Planning Commission. In 2021, TBARTA’s Envision 2030 video was honored with one of the industry’s top national awards, a Grand Prize AdWheel from the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) for “Best Marketing to Highlight Transit Needs/Funding.”

Chris is married to Angie Moreschi, an investigative reporter for WPXI-TV. They have two daughters. Giavanna is a doctoral student at the University of Chicago and Michalina is scheduled to graduate this May from Boston University.
