Maggie Daly Skogsbakken is the Chief Communications Officer at Pace Suburban Bus. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College Chicago and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing & Communications from Roosevelt University. She is currently studying Public Policy at Northwestern University.
Maggie took her first role at Pace in 2006 as a Communications Specialist, was promoted to Marketing & Promotions Supervisor in 2008, and Media Relations Manager in 2016. In 2019, she was named Pace’s Chief Communications Officer. Prior to joining the world of public transportation, she worked in newspaper production, graphic design, and small business marketing.
Maggie is a native Chicagoan who currently resides in Jefferson Park with her husband, twin daughters, and a very good dog named Bueller. She enjoys volunteering in her community and serves as president of her neighborhood association, Jefferson Park Forward. She is also a committee member for the Jefferson Park Working Group on Homelessness, a steering committee member for Chicago Area Clean Cities, and the chair of the American Public Transportation (APTA) PIO taskforce.
